Fred E. McMichaels is the pen name of Paul E. McMahon. I use a pen name primarily to keep my fiction writing separate from my technical business writing. I am an independent software engineering coach, consultant and author. When I am not coaching software teams I enjoy long distance running, golf and writing science fiction stories that conceivably could happen in the not too distant future.  My business and personal interests converge in the areas of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and ethics.
